Tesco spends $45M on increased IT Supply Chain efficiency
Procurement Leaders reporting that UK-based retailer Tesco has launched a $45M programme to improve visibility into the performance of its IT Supply Chain, including mainframe, desktop computers, servers, network components, credit card transactions, suppliers and supply orders.
CA Technologies will manage and monitor the global IT infrastructure across Tesco Bank, Tesco DotCom and Tesco Mobile. Having previously used a number of different solutions from a range of vendors, Tesco selected CA Technologies IT management solutions to consolidate its IT infrastructure. Tesco reported it also uses CA ecoSoftware to help increase the efficiency, speed and accuracy of its carbon accounting process.
